Walker_Jennifer_303Jennifer D. Walker is an Assistant Professor in the Foundations, Leadership, and Special Populations department in the College of Education at the University of Mary Washington. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in special education.

Dr. Walker’s research interests include positive behavioral intervention supports (PBIS), students with emotional and behavioral disabilities (EBD), social skill instruction, and exclusionary discipline. She has presented nationally and is a member of the Council for Exceptional Children, the Teacher Educator Division of CEC, American Educational Research Association, and the Council for Learning Disabilities. Dr. Walker has published several peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters on PBIS, student engagement, and tiered interventions.
